Schedules, coordinates, supervises and/or executes all brand/departmental related promotions or activities with the Promotional Assistants, or Agencies.
Job Purpose:
This role will be responsible for working closely with the Marketing Department to plan and ensure effective execution of promotional activities as per the Division’s standards, including the planning, scheduling, coordinating and supervising of promotions and the Promotion Assistants, as well as working alongside the Promotion Assistants to execute promotions and/or activities.
Major Responsibilities & Accountabilities:
- Schedules, coordinates, supervises and/or executes all brand/departmental related promotions or activities with the Promotional Assistants, or Agencies.
- Works closely with the Trade Execution Executive to facilitate the removal and installation of branding for trade rentals as well as the delivery of displays and promotional materials according to timelines set out in the execution report.
- Works closely with the Promotions Assistants to monitor storage and inventory of all sampling/promotional materials through stock checks, updates to the POP catalog and cleaning of Promotional rooms at a minimum biannually.
- Negotiates contracts with external promotional agencies to supply Brand Ambassadors.
- Works closely with the Promotions Assistants and conducts site visits to ensure that all relevant promotional materials are delivered and that all promotional activities are executed as planned.
- Ensures all required products are billed, collected from the warehouse, and delivered to promotions or customers as scheduled.
- Documents and reports all promotional activity monthly by way of photographs, feedback, and reporting from Promotional Assistants, Agencies, and Brand Ambassadors.
- Ensures all invoices and voucher payments are accurately completed and processed to ensure timely payment to all Promoters, agencies, and brand ambassadors.
- Works with the Marketing Team to develop schedules and guidelines for the execution of each portfolio.
- Works with Sales teams to secure approval for sampling schedules from relevant customers.
- Evaluates activations/executions and makes recommendations to the Marketing Department.
- Assists with the facilitation of training and product courses for internal and external Promoters with company standards.
- Organizes product hampers as requested within brand and Department budgets.
- Schedules, coordinates and/or executes distribution of prizes.
- Responsible for appropriate maintenance and care of assigned Food Division vehicle.
Knowledge & Experience:
- Diploma or Certificate in Marketing / Events Coordination
- A minimum of two (2) years’ experience in a similar role in a FMCG environment
- Or a relevant combination of training and experience
- Possession of a valid driver’s permit with a minimum of two (2) years’ driving experience
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
