FOH/BOH - Barista

Join our team at Buddy Brew Coffee, a specialty coffee company, and become a key player in delivering exceptional coffee experiences to our guests. We are currently seeking a passionate and customer-focused individual to fill the position of Barista. Full time and Part time positions available.

• →Greet guests warmly as they enter the cafe
• →Guide guests through our diverse drink and food menu, answering any questions they may have
• →Take orders with careful attention to details such as coffee blend preferences, dairy choices, and sugar requirements
• →Prepare a variety of hot and cold beverages following Buddy Brew Coffee recipes
• →Serve beverages in a high-quality and presentable manner
• →Handle cash transactions and process credit card payments accurately
• →Maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked work station
• →Ensure stock levels of ceramic, cutlery, and paper goods are adequate
• →Regularly check and maintain brewing equipment, reporting any issues in the shift report
• →Adhere to local health and safety regulations
• →Communicate guest feedback to managers for continuous improvement
• →Actively suggest menu additions or alterations based on customer preferences
• →Perform other duties as assigned

• Previous work experience in the Food/Beverage industry
• Barista experience is preferred but not required
• Hands-on experience with brewing equipment
• Knowledge of sanitation regulations
• Food Handlers certification in Florida (or ability to become certified within 90 days)
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays
• Basic math and cash handling skills
• Ability to understand and respond to guest preferences
• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to work in close proximity with others in a cooperative manner
