PURPOSE Builders FirstSource (BFS) is executing a multi-year business transformation centered on SAP S/4HANA. The Analyst, Business Enablement supports the Business Enablement Team by pulling, cleaning, and validating data from program dashboards and tracking systems, preparing recurring status reports, and maintaining the reporting templates and tools the team relies on. This role ensures that the Sr. Analyst and Manager spend their time on interpretation and field engagement rather than data preparation. The Analyst reports to the Business Enablement Manager and works under the direction of the Sr. Analyst on analytical priorities and quality standards. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Support ad hoc analysis by collecting data, completing initial reviews, and assisting with root cause and trend analysis under the direction of senior team members. Create, update, and maintain standardized reporting templates and tracking tools used by the Business Enablement team. Monitor routine reports for data inconsistencies, outliers, or emerging trends and escalate findings to a Senior Analyst or Manager. Assemble data inputs and prepare draft reporting materials to support SteerCo, Sponsor, and program review deliverables. Pull, clean, and validate data from program dashboards, SAP extracts, and internal tracking systems on a recurring schedule. Prepare weekly and monthly status reports, including change request (CR) pipeline updates, resolution timelines, and field feedback summaries. Document recurring reporting steps and basic analytical processes to support consistency, knowledge transfer, and audit readiness. Other duties as assigned   SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES This role does not have direct supervisory responsibilities. The Analyst, Business Enablement works under the direction of the Sr. Analyst and Business Enablement Manager on analytical priorities, reporting cadences, and quality standards.   MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. College degree preferred, not required 1 to 3 years of experience in data analysis, reporting, or operational support roles. Proficiency in Excel and familiarity with dashboarding tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, or similar). Exposure to SAP or ERP data structures preferred but not required; ability to learn system-specific reporting quickly. Strong attention to detail with ability to work accurately across large, messy datasets under recurring deadlines. Travel up to 80% for periodic site visits, team co-location in Dallas, and attendance at program reviews, SteerCo sessions, and workshops. The majority of this role is performed remotely, with travel concentrated around key program milestones and stage gates. When not traveling, work is in a remote setting and generally sedentary with physical effort associated with using a computer but may involve walking or standing for brief periods of time.
