This role is responsible for operating delivery vehicles safely, maintaining DOT compliance, and providing excellent customer service.What We Offer: $2,500 Sign On Bonus Unleash your earning potential with Performance Based Pay Earn up to $80,000 annually Local jobsite deliveries Home every night Monday through Friday Paid Time Off Full Benefits Package 401(k) with Company Match PURPOSEResponsible for driving delivery vehicles and/or operating truck-trailer combinations to transport and deliver materials to customer sites. Adheres to driver safety and compliance regulations, delivers undamaged goods on schedule, and provides professional service to customers. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Load and secure building materials for delivery Deliver customer orders safely and on time to local jobsites Assist with unloading materials while protecting customer property Verify delivery paperwork and maintain accurate delivery logs Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections and maintain DOT compliance Operate forklifts or material handling equipment as needed Maintain cleanliness and routine safety checks of delivery vehicles Provide professional customer service and help resolve issues as needed Follow all company safety procedures and practices Other duties as assigned MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS High School Diploma or GED 21+ years old Valid Class A CDL license Minimum 1 year of delivery driving experience preferred Ability to pass MVR review and obtain DOT medical card Less than 5 moving violations within the last 5 years Basic math and communication skills WORK ENVIRONMENT / PHYSICAL ACTIVITY Work is performed in indoor and outdoor environments with varying weather conditions Must be able to lift and carry up to 100 pounds frequently Must be able to safely operate delivery vehicles and equipment.
