Builders Mutual is seeking an Analytics Analyst to support data analysis and reporting activities within our organization. This position works closely with stakeholders to gather requirements, extract and manipulate data from various sources, and perform basic statistical analyses. The work includes creating dashboards, visualizations, and reports to communicate insights to business users. The successful Analytics Analyst has a strong understanding of SQL, Excel, and preferably experience with data visualization tools. Because the success of our company is rooted in teamwork, the way we care about the people we work with and serve, this hybrid role will work in our Raleigh office a minimum of two days with the flexibility to work from home the remaining three days.  

 

 

Your work as an Analytics Analyst will make a difference as you:

  • Assist in gathering and documenting data requirements from stakeholders.
  • Extract, clean, and transform data from multiple sources for analysis.
  • Perform basic statistical analyses and data mining to identify trends and patterns.
  • Develop and maintain reports, dashboards, and visualizations using BI tools.
  • Support ad-hoc data analysis requests from business users.
  • Ensure data accuracy and integrity in reporting and analysis.

 

 

Skills to get the job done right:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, Computer Science, or a related field and 0-3 years of related experience.
  • Proficiency in SQL and experience with relational databases.
  • Familiarity with data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or similar.
  • Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and problem resolution skills.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
