About the Role

BuildCam is expanding in Western Australia, and we're looking for an experienced Leading Hand / Operations Supervisor to help establish and grow our Perth operation.

This is a full-time, fixed-term 12-month contract with a view to permanency for the right candidate. As our Western Australian operation continues to grow, this role offers an excellent opportunity to establish yourself within the business and build a long-term career with the Buildsafe Group.

Reporting to the Head of Field Execution, you'll be responsible for coordinating the day-to-day operations of our Perth team, ensuring installers are prepared for each day's work, managing our warehouse, and building strong relationships with clients across the region.

This is a hands-on leadership role that suits someone who enjoys taking ownership, solving problems, leading by example and building a positive team culture.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate the daily operations of BuildCam in Perth, ensuring installers are prepared and ready for each day's work.
• Liaise with Site Supervisors, Area Managers and internal stakeholders to ensure projects are delivered safely and efficiently.
• Lead, coach and develop a positive, high-performing team culture.
• Solve operational challenges and adapt to changing site conditions.
• Oversee the day-to-day organisation and management of the warehouse.
• Manage client accounts across the region, building strong relationships and delivering exceptional customer service.
• Work closely with the Sales Manager, providing updates on client activity and supporting business growth.
• Monitor stock, equipment and operational resources.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, safety standards and operational procedures.
• Lead by example, promoting BuildCam's commitment to safety, quality and customer service.

Essential Requirements

• Construction White Card
• Forklift Licence
• Strong leadership, interpersonal and communication skills
• Excellent organisational and problem-solving abilities
• Previous account or client management experience
• Ability to work autonomously and manage competing priorities

Desirable

• MR (Medium Rigid) Driver Licence
• Previous construction site experience
