We are currently seeking multiple Electricians to join our proactive Electrical Maintenance Team. This role is primarily day work, 7.00 am-3.30 pm, however, shift work may be required.

About the Role

As an Electrician, you will have the skills to carry electrical maintenance and capital works to ensure plant performance meets operational targets and objectives. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Carrying out electrical maintenance and capital works across plant equipment including wiring, circuitry, mills, turbines, fugals, conveyors, carriers, pumps, fans, gearboxes, motors, and vessels.
  • Working as part of a maintenance team to meet production and maintenance targets
  • Using condition monitoring techniques to optimise equipment performance
  • Completing electrical project work and contributing to continuous improvement initiatives
  • Actively supporting Workplace Health and Safety practices

You must hold a current Queensland Electrical Licence endorsed as Electrical Fitter Mechanic, Electrical Mechanic, or equivalent.

Experience within the sugar industry or heavy industrial environments will be highly regarded.

You will also have:

  • Experience with plant wiring, lighting, and circuitry.
  • Knowledge of motor starters and variable speed drives (VSDs)
  • Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills.
  • Experience with computerised maintenance systems and assisting with plant improvement projects (desirable)
  • A proactive approach to safety and teamwork.
