This position requires a senior professional who is highly independent, detail-oriented, and committed to integrity. The Senior Quality Manager will play a critical role in bridging engineering, manufacturing, and corporate leadership — ensuring that new products launch successfully and that ongoing supplier quality is consistently maintained.

  • Lead supplier quality management across India and Asia, ensuring compliance with BusPatrol policies, customer requirements, and international standards.

  • Audit suppliers and manufacturing processes to verify compliance and maintain readiness.

  • Maintain independence and objectivity in all supplier relationships.

  • Work closely with BusPatrol’s engineering group.

  • Act as the primary quality liaison between BusPatrol Engineering and overseas manufacturing partners during NPI.

  • Oversee execution of EVT/DVT builds, EOL (End of Line), FAT (Factory Acceptance Testing), MES (Manufacturing Execution Systems) and manufacturing line readiness.

  • Provide a quality and manufacturability perspective on test plans, certifications, and process requirements.

  • Audit and validate supplier readiness to ensure quality and reliability before production ramp.

  • Support documentation requirements (PPAP, ECR/ECN, etc.) in collaboration with the HQ Document Control team.

  • Lead investigations into supplier and manufacturing quality issues, including endemic failures and systemic component issues.

  • Drive root cause analysis and 8D reporting, ensuring corrective and preventive actions are implemented in line with BusPatrol policies and contractual agreements.

  • Collaborate with internal teams — including Engineering and Field Installation & Service Operations — to capture field data and address quality concerns.

  • Act as the company’s liaison for direct supplier interaction during escalations and supplier interventions.

  • 10–15 years of experience in Quality Management, Supplier Quality Engineering, or Manufacturing Oversight within global supply chains.

  • Strong working knowledge of ISO/TS standards, PPAP, APQP, and related quality frameworks.

  • Demonstrated experience supporting NPI activities, including EVT/DVT/PVT builds, EOL builds, PPAP submissions, and ECR/ECN/NCR deliverables.

  • Hands-on experience leading root cause analysis, corrective actions, and 8D closure with suppliers.

  • Familiarity with PLM workflows and working alongside document control teams.

  • Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to convey complex information clearly to global stakeholders.

  • Proven track record of integrity, independence, and reliability in supplier management.

  • Comfortable with extensive international travel (Asia + U.S.). Must have vaild passport with no restriction of entry into the following countries: USA, Japan, China, Vietnam, Philippines, etc.

  • Based in Delhi.

  • Familiarity with GD&T, and ability to interpret drawings and schematics.
