Delivery Sales Merchandiser - Heavy Truck License Required

Butterfield & Vallis' Consumer Products Division currently has a vacancy for a Delivery Sales Merchandiser. This position requires an energetic person who is willing to work in our busy direct store delivery department. Duties will include but not limited to visiting customer accounts via the Company truck and sales and merchandising of popular brands of product.

Primary Duties & Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Preparing/selecting of orders of assigned material, of a DSD nature for delivery to our customers in a timely manner. Driver will visit the trade to solicit their own orders.
• Driving Heavy truck, picking orders, visiting customer accounts and selling snack nature , and merchandising product within the stores.
• Delivering to only assigned routes, and ensuring all invoices and credits are signed and returned correctly at the end of each day with correct paperwork.
• Ensuring all traffic laws and safety and Health regulations are followed. Not having any speed infractions, accidents or parking tickets in a 12 month period.
• Wearing uniform provided, being polite, courteous and providing friendly service to our customers, acting as ambassadors for the company, and ensuring all company policies are followed.

• Should be a self-starter with the ability to work with minimum supervision.
• Must possess a clean and valid Bermuda Heavy Truck driver's license.
• Must have a good work ethic.
• Should be physically fit.
• Be computer literate.
• Have high standards and strong organizational skills.
• Have strong interpersonal and verbal communication skills.

Hours of work: Monday to Thursday 7am to 3pm (or 8am to 4pm);
Friday & Saturday: 7am to 11am (or 8am to 12pm).
