Additional information about the company can be found online at www.bwpipelines.com.   We are currently looking for an Accounting Analyst II/III/SR for our Houston, TX office.     POSITION DESCRIPTION:   Responsible for revenue accounting, contract reporting and analysis. Provides ad hoc analysis to support the Commercial, Regulatory, Tax, Investor Relations and Corporate Development departments.  This position requires the ability to analyze market trends, understand industry dynamics and Boardwalk's drivers of revenue.  The ideal candidate is a self-starter who is capable of working independently with a strong ability to multi-task. This position requires strong communication skills both written and oral, with ability to work under tight deadlines.   Key Responsibilities: Contract and Revenue reporting and analysis Provide support for internal and external auditors Assist in ad hoc projects   Key Attributes Ability to work in a team environment Effective in building relationships Possess strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills Strong attention to detail Ability to independently manage multiple priorities and deliver accurate work under tight reporting deadlines   REQUIRED SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE, AND EXPERIENCE: Understanding of GAAP accounting Experienced in Power Point, Excel and databases Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to communicate financial and operational insights to management and business partners Strong attention to detail Highly organized and excellent time management Strong analytical skills and ability to multi-task Support regulatory, management, and financial reporting activities Ability to analyze and interpret operational and contractual data Demonstrated ability to take ownership of analyses and reporting deliverables from initiation through completion PREFERRRED QUALIFICATIONS: 2-5 years in natural gas or liquids industry Experience in related analytical role Understanding of GAAP and FERC accounting Understanding of ASC 606 Power Query/Power Automate / DAX Experience with Power BI, large datasets, and financial reporting tools   REQUIRED EDUCATION:   Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Economics or Finance   PREFERRED EDUCATION:   CPA   ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:   Boardwalk Pipelines, LP, maintains a drug-free workplace and will require pre-employment drug & substance abuse testing before hiring.   Boardwalk Pipelines, LP, is an equal opportunity employer.
