The Accounts Payable Specialist is responsible for executing the day-to-day operations of the accounts payable function with a focus on accuracy, efficiency, and compliance. This role involves processing high volumes of vendor invoices, verifying invoice data across multiple systems, resolving discrepancies, and supporting payment cycles. The specialist will also assist with vendor account reconciliations, maintain documentation for tax and insurance compliance, and serve as a resource for internal departments and retail operations.

• 2+ years' related experience or equivalent.
• Basic understanding of accounting, financial, and business principles and procedures.
• Knowledge and familiarity of accounting software, with willingness to learn new tools.
• Solid understanding of basic accounting principles, fair credit practices, and collection regulations.
• Proven ability to establish strong credibility and build relationships, proactively the on projects, and maintain strict confidentiality.
• Effective multi-tasker with demonstrated ability to prioritize.
• Demonstrate strong oral and written communication skills; ability to correspond in a professional, businesslike manner.
