General Labourer (On-Call)

ATCO Frontec is seeking a casual, on-call General Labourer to join our ATCO Facility Solutions team in Lethbridge, AB. This position involves frequent travel between Lethbridge & Medicine Hat. The General Labourer will assist trades personnel with preventative maintenance, inspection and general support tasks to ensure safe and efficient operations across sites. 

ATCO Frontec provides preventative and corrective maintenance services for our customers throughout Alberta. Our maintenance teams are mobile, and travel will be required in this position.

• →Provide input into the preventive maintenance plan;
• →Assist with various project tasks (carpentry, plumbing, electrical, drywalling, warehouse support, etc.)
• →Assist the tradespersons with inspections and general maintenance tasks
• →Complete regular maintenance checks on equipment;
• →Propose alternative solutions to mitigate delays;
• →Organize supplies, and handle pick-up and drop-off logistics;
• →Other duties as assigned.

• Minimum of one year of experience in general trades; experience in electrical construction or maintenance would be considered a strong asset.
• Power Engineering Certificate is considered a strong asset.
• Class 5 license and clean drivers abstract is required.
• Must be able to pass a Drug & Alcohol Test, Fit-to-Work Test, and Extensive Background Check.
• Must be able to obtain Government Security Clearance.
• Good mechanical skills and understanding of building components and equipment.
• Good communication, customer service and teamwork skills.
