As a Senior Python Engineer, you are a leader by example, you are a subject matter expert, and you help lead strategic technical direction. You will get to interact with key client stakeholders on a regular basis and use your experience to prove business ROI through innovative greenfield technology solutions. • 7+ years of professional software development experience.
• 3+ years of demonstrated ability designing, building, and maintaining RESTful web services.
• 3+ years of proven experience with relational databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL).
• Deep proficiency in Python and experience with at least one Python web framework (e.g., Django, Flask).
• Strong experience with modern JavaScript frameworks, specifically React.js.
• Proficient understanding of code versioning tools (e.g., Git).
• Experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS) (e.g., EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda).
• Knowledge of SaaS applications, multi-tenant architectures, and DevOps/CI/CD practices.
• Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development environment.
• Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and/or developing applications for a major public cloud provider is a plus
• Professional experience in corporate Information Technology and/or Consulting
• Experience leading a team of Software Developers and Associate Software Developers is a plus
• Mentorship and pair programming experience
• Four-year degree or successful completion of a respected developer bootcamp/accelerator, or extensive mentorship program
