We are seeking a dependable and skilled Building Maintenance Technician to support the maintenance and repair needs of our dental facilities. This role is ideal for someone with experience in general building maintenance, plumbing, electrical work, painting, drywall repair, preventative maintenance, and basic dental equipment troubleshooting.
Responsibilities
~1 min readAs our Building Maintenance Technician, you will:
- →Perform routine building maintenance and repairs across multiple dental office locations
- →Complete preventative maintenance programs and facility inspections
- →Handle painting, drywall patching, and cosmetic repairs
- →Maintain and service water filtration systems, water softeners, and beverage systems
- →Perform basic HVAC maintenance, troubleshooting, and filter replacements
- →Complete minor electrical repairs, lighting replacements, and fixture installations
- →Perform basic plumbing repairs, drain maintenance, and fixture replacements
- →Install shelving, signage, wall-mounted equipment, artwork, and office fixtures
- →Diagnose and repair minor dental equipment issues, including chairs, delivery units, lights, sterilization equipment, compressors, vacuum systems, and other non-complex office equipment
- →Coordinate with dental equipment vendors and service technicians for advanced repairs beyond internal capabilities
- →Respond promptly to maintenance requests and work orders
- →Maintain tools, equipment, and maintenance records
- →Ensure compliance with all company safety policies and procedures
Requirements
~1 min read- Previous experience in building maintenance, handyman services, facility maintenance, dental equipment maintenance, or related trades
- Working knowledge of:
- Plumbing
- Electrical systems
- HVAC systems
- General building maintenance
- Basic mechanical equipment troubleshooting
- Ability to safely operate hand and power tools
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and prioritize multiple tasks
- Valid Nevada Driver's License with a clean driving record
- Reliable personal transportation required
- Ability and willingness to travel between multiple office locations throughout the Las Vegas Valley
- Must maintain appropriate vehicle insurance as required by law
- Experience working in dental, medical, or healthcare facilities
- Experience servicing dental chairs, compressors, vacuum systems, sterilizers, or operatory equipment
- Trade school, vocational training, or maintenance certifications
- OSHA or safety-related training
- Frequently lift and carry up to 50 pounds
- Stand, walk, bend, kneel, reach, climb ladders, and work in confined spaces
- Work both indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions
- Operate maintenance equipment and power tools safely
