We are looking for an enthusiastic engineering student to join our Electronics & Software team, contributing to exciting projects across Healthcare, Telecommunications and wider industries.

From day one, you’ll be an integral part of our multi-disciplinary medical development team, tackling real technical challenges while receiving guidance and training from experienced engineers. You’ll gain hands-on experience with a wide range of applications, from tiny, wirelessly powered medical implants to large-scale diagnostic equipment. You might find yourself working with analogue circuits, digital systems, FPGAs, antennas, signal processing, and much more.
Responsibilities

- →Design and support electronics for multi-disciplinary projects, collaborating with engineers across all development stages.
- →Create and implement your own printed circuit boards using Altium.
- →Build experience using and automating precision test and measurement equipment.
- →Contribute to innovation in workshops and technical reviews.
- →Analyse experimental data and develop conclusions to shape project outcomes.
- →Learn and apply modern soldering techniques.
- →Document your work through technical analyses, test plans, and reports.
- →Present your technical findings to both specialist and non-specialist audiences.
- →Balance your time effectively across multiple project commitments.
- →Gain invaluable insight from the talented professionals around you.
We’re looking for applicants who:
- Are currently pursuing a degree in a relevant field such as Engineering, Electronics, Mathematics, or Physics.
- Are eligible to undertake a 12-month industrial placement as part of their course.
- Demonstrate curiosity, a passion for learning, and a drive to see the bigger picture.
- Have hands-on experience with electronics lab equipment and soldering tools.
- Have a solid understanding of electronics fundamentals.
- Have exposure to software development.
Please ensure your CV includes your A Level (or equivalent) subjects and grades, as well as any relevant university modules.
