Concession Worker

Canlan Sports is currently looking for a Concession Worker

Rate of Pay: $15.50 - $16.50/ hour

Our concession workers are outgoing, positive, and team orientated. They provide prompt, courteous and accurate food and beverage service in order to exceed guest expectations. The role is including preparation, serving and clean-up within the facility.

• →Prepare and stock the concession in advance of events and removes and stores product post event.
• →Apply developed knowledge of tableware and bar equipment (for locations that serve alcohol)
• →Handle payments and gratuities, make change, and process all transactions through SQUIRREL system accurately
• →Maintain knowledge of and actively promote menu, beverages and current promotions
• →Receive product delivery and ensure safe, sanitary and secure storage when required
• →Ensure all opening / closing procedures are completed (shift dependent)

• Smart Serve, Serving It Right (or equivalent) required (for locations that serve alcohol at concessions)
• Completed secondary education or equivalent preferred

• Previous Food & Beverage experience preferred
• Outgoing, positive and team orientated
• Willingness and ability to work flexible hours (evenings & weekends)
• Experienced handling payment and gratuities through a POS system preferred
• Previous Food & Beverage experience preferred
