Role Overview: Hera Technologies is seeking a reliable, detail-oriented 2nd shift Inventory Coordinator to support material flow, inventory accuracy, and receiving activities within a fast-paced aerospace manufacturing environment. This hands-on role is responsible for executing inventory transactions, maintaining material traceability, supporting production material requirements, and ensuring accurate movement and storage of materials throughout the facility. Responsibilities include inventory control, receiving support, and basic material inspection coordination.

The ideal candidate has experience in inventory management and material handling, understands ERP-driven inventory processes, and is comfortable working cross-functionally with Production, Quality, and Supply Chain teams to ensure materials are accurately received, stored, tracked, and issued to support manufacturing operations.

  • Perform daily material movement activities including receiving, stocking, issuing, transferring, and put-away of materials.
  • Execute inventory transactions within the ERP system to maintain accurate inventory records and inventory integrity.
  • Pull, stage, and issue materials to production in alignment with work orders and manufacturing schedules.
  • Monitor and track material movement between receiving, stockroom, warehouse, WIP, and production areas.
  • Support cycle counts, inventory audits, and inventory accuracy initiatives.
  • Receive and unload incoming deliveries; verify shipment quantities and documentation against packing slips.
  • Label, organize, and stage incoming materials for processing and inspection activities.
  • Verify incoming materials include required certifications, traceability records, and supporting documentation.
  • Perform basic visual inspections for shipping damage and segregate material requiring formal quality review.
  • Coordinate urgent material requests and support expedited production requirements.
  • Maintain proper material identification, labeling, storage, and traceability in accordance with company procedures.
  • Communicate inventory discrepancies, material shortages, damaged material, or transaction issues to appropriate departments.
  • Maintain organized warehouse, stockroom, and receiving areas in accordance with 5S and safety standards.
  • Support compliance with AS9100, customer requirements, and internal quality procedures.
  • Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment safely and efficiently.
  • Follow all safety, quality, and operational procedures while supporting a fast-paced aerospace manufacturing environment.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • 2–4 years of inventory control, warehouse, receiving, or material handling experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Experience performing inventory transactions within an ERP system (Epicor, JobBoss, Oracle, SAP, or similar).
  • Strong understanding of inventory control processes, material flow, and warehouse operations.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry, inventory transactions, and material handling.
  • Ability to read and interpret part numbers, labels, packing slips, and work orders.
  • Effective communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally with multiple departments.
  • Forklift certification or ability to obtain certification upon hire.
  • Aerospace manufacturing experience preferred.
  • Familiarity with AS9100, ISO9001, or other regulated manufacturing environments.
  • Experience handling traceability-controlled material and certification documentation.
  • Experience supporting cycle counts and inventory accuracy initiatives.
  • Basic knowledge of Lean Manufacturing principles including 5S, FIFO, and Kanban.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-mix, low-volume manufacturing environment.
  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods throughout the shift.
  • Ability to frequently lift, carry, push, and pull materials weighing up to 50 pounds.
  • Ability to safely operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment.
  • Ability to bend, stoop, kneel, reach, and climb as required to access inventory and storage locations.
  • Ability to work in a manufacturing environment with exposure to moving equipment, noise, and varying temperatures.
  • Ability to perform repetitive material handling and inventory-related tasks throughout the workday.
  • Visual ability to read labels, part numbers, inventory documentation, and computer screens with or without reasonable accommodation.
Your actual level and base salary will be determined on a case-by-case basis and may vary based on the following considerations: job-related knowledge and skills, education, and experience.
