Join Capco's Capital Markets practice as an AI Programme Manager, supporting leading investment banks, exchanges, market infrastructure providers, broker-dealers, asset managers, and securities services organisations in delivering large-scale AI transformation initiatives.
This role sits at the intersection of programme leadership, strategic delivery, governance, and AI-enabled business transformation, helping clients scale AI capabilities in a controlled, commercially valuable, and operationally sustainable way across front, middle, and back-office functions.
You'll lead complex transformation programmes spanning trading, operations, technology, risk, compliance, regulatory reporting, and product teams, ensuring AI initiatives are strategically aligned, effectively governed, and successfully delivered within highly regulated Capital Markets environments. Working closely with senior client stakeholders, delivery teams, and AI specialists, you'll oversee programme delivery, governance, benefits realisation, and organisational change while ensuring AI-enabled ways of working remain human-led, responsibly governed, and aligned with regulatory expectations.
Responsibilities
~1 min read- →Lead complex AI transformation programmes across Capital Markets organisations, overseeing governance, delivery planning, RAID management, stakeholder engagement, and programme execution while leveraging approved AI tools to enhance productivity, reporting, and delivery insight.
- →Partner with senior stakeholders across Front Office, Operations, Technology, Risk, Compliance, Product, and Regulatory functions to define strategic roadmaps, prioritise initiatives, and deliver AI-enabled capabilities with measurable business value and sustainable operating models.
- →Drive programme governance, KPI reporting, financial management, benefits realisation, and cross-functional delivery oversight, ensuring programmes remain commercially focused, operationally resilient, and aligned with client objectives.
- →Embed responsible AI practices throughout programme delivery by incorporating governance, operational risk management, regulatory compliance, human-in-the-loop controls, auditability, monitoring, and model oversight into AI-enabled transformation initiatives.
- →Contribute to practice growth through client relationship management, consulting leadership, mentoring, proposition development, business development, and thought leadership while promoting responsible AI adoption across Capital Markets organisations.
- Significant experience leading large-scale business, technology, data, or AI transformation programmes within Capital Markets, with exposure to Investment Banking, Equities, Fixed Income, FX, Commodities, Derivatives, Prime Services, Securities Services, or Market Infrastructure.
- Strong understanding of programme management methodologies, governance frameworks, Agile and hybrid delivery approaches, and enterprise transformation delivery within highly regulated financial institutions.
- Good understanding of AI technologies, including Generative AI, Agentic AI, intelligent automation, enterprise AI platforms, and the governance, operational, and regulatory considerations associated with AI adoption at scale.
- Proven ability to influence senior stakeholders, translate strategic objectives into executable delivery plans, manage complex programmes, and deliver measurable business outcomes.
- Commercially minded with strong leadership, communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills, together with a commitment to responsible AI adoption and continuous improvement.
Nice to Have
~1 min read- Previous consulting or advisory experience within a professional services environment at Principal Consultant, Programme Director, or equivalent level.
- Experience delivering transformation programmes across Trading, Electronic Trading, Trade Lifecycle Management, Post-Trade Operations, Regulatory Reporting, Market Risk, Treasury, or Client Lifecycle Management.
- Knowledge of Capital Markets regulations including MiFID II, EMIR, SFTR, Dodd-Frank, Basel, CFTC, or other global regulatory frameworks.
- Experience supporting enterprise AI governance, responsible AI frameworks, model risk management, or large-scale AI operating model implementation.
- Exposure to Microsoft Copilot, Power Platform, Azure AI services, enterprise AI ecosystems, workflow automation platforms, or Capital Markets technology platforms.
