You’ll support the delivery of change across our front book, combining strong Business Analysis with hands-on Project/Delivery Management. This is a fast-paced role for someone proactive who can shape ambiguous problems, drive outcomes at pace, and partner effectively across Technology, Operations, Risk, Legal and Product.
Key responsibilities
- Own end-to-end requirements: discovery, stakeholder interviews, process mapping, user stories, acceptance criteria, and traceability.
- Translate business needs into clear, testable requirements for Technology teams (Agile and/or hybrid delivery).
- Analyse current-state vs target-state processes for loan origination, servicing, amendments, repayments, interest/fees, covenants, and lifecycle events.
- Support solution design by clarifying business rules, data needs, controls, and operational impacts.
- Drive UAT approach: test scenarios, defect triage, sign-off criteria, and readiness for release.
- Plan and manage delivery across multiple workstreams: scope, milestones, RAID, dependencies, and governance.
- Demonstrate strong understanding of loan products and processes (e.g., syndicated/bilateral loans, facilities, drawdowns, rollovers, repricing, amendments/waivers, collateral/security considerations where relevant).
- Partner with Operations and Product to ensure solutions are workable, controlled, and scalable.
- Ensure regulatory, conduct, and control requirements are embedded into requirements and delivery.
Nice to Have
~1 min read- Interpret and incorporate legal/contractual features into requirements (e.g., facility agreements, covenants, conditions precedent, representations, events of default, notice requirements).
- Work effectively with Legal and Compliance stakeholders to ensure accurate implementation of contractual obligations.
- Proven track record as a Business Analyst delivering complex change in fast-paced programmes/projects.
- Demonstrable experience in loans (front-to-back lifecycle knowledge preferred).
- Strong delivery management skills: planning, governance, stakeholder management, and execution discipline.
- Excellent communication skills: able to influence, simplify complexity, and drive decisions across senior stakeholders.
- Strong analytical toolkit: process mapping, data analysis, problem structuring, and benefits articulation.
- Comfortable working across global teams and multiple time zones.
Nice to Have
~1 min read- Experience working with legal documentation and translating legal features into operational/technology requirements.
- Exposure to AI-enabled solutions, automation, or advanced analytics in a regulated environment.
- Experience with Agile delivery (Jira/Confluence), and/or hybrid delivery models.
- Knowledge of controls, operational risk, and audit-ready documentation.
- Business requirements pack (epics/user stories, acceptance criteria, traceability).
- Current-state and target-state process maps and control points.
- RAID log, delivery plan, milestone reporting, and governance updates.
- UAT plan, test scenarios, defect triage outcomes, and business sign-off.
- Cutover/runbook inputs and operational readiness artefacts.
- Requirements are clear, testable, and reduce rework.
- Delivery milestones met with transparent management of risks and dependencies.
- Improved customer/colleague outcomes through streamlined loan processes and reduced operational friction.
- Strong stakeholder confidence and effective cross-team collaboration.
