The UAT Analyst plays a key role in ensuring that digital banking solutions meet business requirements and deliver seamless customer and operational experiences. This role focuses on executing User Acceptance Testing (UAT), validating system functionality, and identifying defects to ensure high-quality delivery.
Working within the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC), the UAT Analyst collaborates closely with business stakeholders, delivery teams, and technology partners. The role requires a detail-oriented and structured approach to testing, ensuring that all user journeys, transactions, and backend processes function as expected prior to production release.
Responsibilities
~1 min read- →Review and understand test cases, business rules, and expected outcomes
- →Prepare and manage test data aligned with defined testing scenarios
- →Perform pre-execution checks, including system access, user roles, and environment readiness
- →Execute UAT scenarios and test cases accurately within agreed timelines
- →Validate system behavior across digital channels, workflows, and backend processes
- →Document test results clearly, ensuring traceability and completeness
- →Log, track, and manage defects with detailed supporting evidence (steps, screenshots, environment details)
- →Re-test resolved defects following fixes and deployments to UAT environments
- →Collaborate with cross-functional teams including UAT analysts, test leads, IT teams, and vendors during defect triage
- →Maintain and update daily test execution progress using tracking tools
- →Escalate blockers, issues, or ambiguities in a timely manner
- →Participate in Agile ceremonies, including daily stand-ups and defect review sessions
- University degree (preferably in IT, Computer Science, Business, or related fields)
- 1–3 years of experience in software testing or User Acceptance Testing
- Exposure to banking operations or digital channels is an advantage
- Basic understanding of system workflows and transaction processing
- Ability to execute structured test scripts and document results accurately
- Familiarity with defect management tools such as Jira or Azure DevOps
- Strong attention to detail with a disciplined and methodical approach
- Ability to work effectively under tight deadlines in fast-paced environments
- Proficiency in Thai and English (intermediate level or above) for communication and documentation
