Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant – Inpatient Cardiology

Citrus Cardiology Consultants is seeking a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our cardiovascular team in Inverness, Florida.

This is a hospital-based cardiology position offering a 7-on/7-off daytime schedule and the opportunity to work alongside experienced cardiologists in a collaborative, team-oriented environment. Providers will participate in inpatient cardiovascular care, hospital rounding, consults, and ongoing patient management while gaining exposure to a broad range of cardiovascular conditions.

• →Evaluate and manage patients with acute and chronic cardiovascular conditions in the hospital setting
• →Participate in daily hospital rounding and inpatient cardiovascular care
• →Perform cardiovascular consults and follow-up evaluations
• →Order and interpret diagnostic testing, including EKGs, laboratory studies, imaging, and stress testing
• →Collaborate with cardiologists to develop and implement treatment plans
• →Educate patients and families on diagnoses, medications, and treatment plans
• →Coordinate care with physicians, nurses, case managers, and other healthcare professionals

• Board-Certified Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant
• Active Florida license or ability to obtain prior to start
• Cardiology or acute care experience preferred but not required
• New Nurse Practitioner and Physician Assistant graduates are encouraged to apply
• Strong interest in cardiovascular medicine
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Commitment to delivering high-quality patient-centered care
