Research and Quality Assistant

• →Abstract clinical data for quality improvement initiatives focused on cardiovascular care delivery, imaging utilization, patient outcomes, and guideline adherence.
• → Assist with data collection for accreditation, benchmarking, registry participation, and performance improvement initiatives.
• → Support internal quality programs and external reporting requirements.
• → Maintain compliance with HIPAA, institutional privacy policies, and applicable regulatory requirements.
• → Support development and execution of new quality improvement projects.

•  Bachelor's degree.
• Three or more years of experience doing chart abstraction and literature reviews to support research and/or quality improvement work in clinical medicine.
• Proficiency with EHR systems.
• Strong Microsoft Excel and data management skills.
• Experience with REDCap, clinical trial databases, registry platforms, or quality reporting systems.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Qualifications Preferred
• Registered Nurse (RN), Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN), or other clinical background.
• Experience reviewing cardiovascular patient records.
• Experience working in cardiology, cardiovascular imaging, or cardiovascular research environments.
