Responsibilities

→Lead and participate in business development activities, including proposal preparation, project interviews/presentations, and client management.
→Develop new business opportunities by strengthening relationships with existing clients and creating new client connections.
→Represent the firm at industry events, professional associations, and community activities to enhance visibility and market presence
→Project engineering and management including project oversight, setting priorities and developing objectives, project financial management as well as hands-on involvement in the design process.
→The ability to serve as a technical resource for site civil team members.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering. Master’s degree is a plus.
Minimum of 8 years of experience in leading a wide variety of site development projects, municipal roadway or utility projects.
Success in business development planning, including developing strategic business plans, marketing activities, client development, presentation experience and proposal development.
Knowledge of general civil engineering, including stormwater management design, municipal utility design and permitting regulations.
Knowledge of municipal utility design including sanitary sewer and water main.
Experience managing a group would be considered a plus.
Professional Engineer (PE) License in Minnesota. PE licenses in other Midwest states is a plus.
Good communication skills and a proven track record in successfully interacting with clients and internal team members is necessary.
General knowledge of Autodesk Civil3D, hydrology and hydraulic software.
