Full-time Senior Architect, Team Lead to participate on various projects through all 

phases of design and construction. An employee in this role should be a creative, 

self-motivated design professional who is able to utilize current technologies to 

achieve design excellence. This position manages multiple individuals and reports 

to the Director of Operations.

Responsibilities

• Manage performance and development of Architects and Architectural 

Designers

• Oversee a team of architects, architectural designers and interior designers 

working on various projects to completion

• Execute project plans and directly oversee the project teams design and 

technical delivery, including delivering timely projects and adhering to all 

project deadlines

• Serve as a Project Manager and/or collaborate as part of a team to design a 

wide range of projects through all phases of design and construction

• Apply a rigorous concept-based design process to justify decision making

• Manage and oversee the team in the production of accurate technical 

drawings, documents, and project specifications

• Review completed plans, checklists, reports, narratives, specifications, 

estimates and calculations for accuracy and compliance prior to the review 

from design and technical principals

• Present directly to the client on project technical and design solutions

• Assist in the pursuit of new projects, including attending interviews and 

reviewing project proposals

• Participate in firm hiring and recruiting efforts, attend career fairs and 

interview prospective candidates

• Work closely with firm leadership and staff to achieve a high level of project 

success

• Anticipated billable performance: 50%-60%

• Proficiency in 3D modeling, visualization and graphic software; REVIT strongly 

preferred

• Strong knowledge of: Microsoft Office Suite, Adobe Creative Suite, and 

Bluebeam Revu

• Knowledge of materials, construction techniques, specifications and building 

codes

• Strong communication and organizational skills 

• Ability to work both independently and within a team environment
