Plumbing Designer

We are seeking a skilled Plumbing Designer to join our team in Indianapolis, IN. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing plumbing systems, including calculations of water, gas, sanitary/sewer, and storm loads. They will also be expected to develop project specifications, perform site evaluations, attend client and project team meetings, and provide construction administration.

Responsibilities:

·        Design plumbing systems including calculations of water, gas, sanitary/sewer, and storm loads.

·        Develop contract drawings/designs from schematics through to construction documents.

·        Develop project specifications.

·        Perform site evaluations.

·        Handle construction administration responsibilities including reviewing submittals, shop drawings, RFIs, and change orders.

·        Attend meetings with clients and project team meetings.

Qualifications:

·        Associate's Degree in design preferred but not required.

·        2+ years of plumbing design experience, preferably for commercial, institutional, K-12, or healthcare projects.

·        Fire protection design experience is a plus.

·        Proficiency in Revit highly preferred, proficiency in AutoCAD required.
