Schwab’s Talent Acquisition team sits at the heart of our firm’s talent strategy, shaping how we attract, engage, and hire the people who move our business forward. As a Talent Advisor supporting Technology, you will partner closely with hiring leaders to deliver consultative, end-to-end recruiting solutions for complex, high-impact roles. You will translate business priorities into a clear hiring strategy, define role outcomes and the skills that matter most, and use market insights and data to guide decisions throughout the process.

  

 

 

  • Design and execute data-informed recruiting strategies aligned to business needs and workforce plans.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to hiring leaders by providing market insights, talent recommendations, and clear guidance throughout the hiring process.
  • Lead effective intake conversations that clarify success outcomes, prioritized skills, and hiring priorities.
  • Apply knowledge of enterprise and functional strategies to influence recruiting approaches and outcomes.

 

 

  • Build and maintain diverse, high-quality talent pipelines for current and future hiring needs.
  • Leverage a variety of sourcing channels and outreach strategies to engage hard-to-find talent, and continuously adapt your strategy based on labor market dynamics and business needs.
  • Assess labor market trends, competitive talent dynamics, and employment brand perception to inform recruiting strategies.

 

 

  • Apply structured, skills-based assessment practices to evaluate candidates for role specific capabilities and synthesize interview feedback into clear recommendations that support timely, well-informed hiring decisions.
  • Partner with interview teams to promote consistent, fair, and effective interviewing practices.
  • Prepare interview guides, facilitate interview debriefs, and prepare clear, actionable summaries.
  • Support inclusive hiring outcomes by ensuring candidate slates reflect a broad range of skills, experiences, and perspectives.

 

 

  • Build strong, collaborative relationships across Talent Acquisition, HR, and the business.
  • Deliver a positive, transparent, and respectful experience for candidates and hiring partners.
  • Communicate clearly and confidently in one-on-one and small group settings, adapting to diverse audiences.
  • Model a collaborative approach by sharing best practices and seeking input from others.

 

 

  • Apply critical thinking and business understanding to guide decision-making and manage competing priorities.
  • Demonstrate awareness of risk considerations and support compliant, consistent hiring practices.
  • Take initiative to continuously build expertise in talent acquisition and the industries supported.
  • Informally coach or mentor teammates and contribute to team-level initiatives or projects.

  • 5–7 years of full-cycle technology recruiting experience in a corporate and/or agency environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and execute recruiting strategies for complex or hard-to-fill technology roles.
  • Proven success as a subject matter expert in Talent Acquisition with the ability to demonstrate assertiveness in guiding hiring leaders on best practices and recommendations.
  • Experience conducting skills-based and competency-based candidate assessments.
  • Proven ability to consult with and influence hiring leaders, using sound judgment and clear recommendations to support decision-making.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and requisitions in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to synthesize insights and communicate them clearly.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.

 

 

  • Experience recruiting across multiple functions or business areas.
  • Proven ability to integrate AI capabilities into day-to-day recruiting practices to optimize efficiency, elevate candidate experience, and drive scalable talent outcomes.
  • Familiarity with workforce planning, talent market analysis, or employment branding concepts.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
