At Schwab, you’re empowered to grow your career while helping transform the finance industry through innovation and collaboration.

As an Assistant Branch Manager (ABM), you help drive business growth, client outcomes, and team performance within your local market. Partnering with the Branch Manager, you support strategy execution to expand relationships, grow assets, and increase market impact, using sound judgment and data-driven decisions to influence branch results.

  • To set you up for success, you’ll complete our comprehensive training through Wealth Management University, a four-week virtual experience led by live facilitators.
  • After completing Wealth Management University, your individualized development includes formal training in supervision, employee evaluation, and leadership, alongside ongoing, hands-on coaching and mentorship within your branch, tailored to your background and career goals.
  • The ABM role provides a strong foundation for growth, with a clear path to a Branch Manager position within a 3 year trajectory. As you grow in the role, you will expand your ability to lead teams, drive business outcomes, and influence broader organizational success.
  • Schwab also supports a “choose your own adventure” approach—empowering you to explore leadership, expanded branch roles, or opportunities across service and support teams. You’ll be supported by leaders who invest in your growth and continuous development over time.
