Exempt 

  • Support the definition of continuous improvement targets with management and report performance against operational objectives. 
  • Review workflow processes and assist in root cause analysis with the team. 
  • Identify gaps based on root cause analysis and present findings to leadership. 
  • Recommend optimized workflows and cell designs to improve cost, efficiency, and safety. 
  • Assist in setting up test workflows, observe processes, and gather feedback from employees. 
  • Provide results of tested processes to leadership. 
  • Analyze cost reduction opportunities and support productivity improvement initiatives. 
  • Support SYSPRO modules, including custom and delivered programs. 
  • Provide guidance to SYSPRO Super Users across Sales, Purchasing, Planning, Logistics, Production, and Finance. 
  • Identify process improvement opportunities within departments. 
  • Report on KPIs for quality, productivity, cost, and service delivery. 
  • Network with internal and external resources to support lean projects. 
  • Develop training materials for Lean processes and principles. 
  • Provide education and support to employees on Lean principles and techniques. 
  • Ensure communication of project status and coordination of Lean activities. 
  • Support the development and maintenance of methods and systems for measuring project goals and metrics.
  •  Assist in the implementation of Lean programs from initiation to completion. 
  • Provide input and feedback to leadership. 
  • Engages with the leadership team in setting and achieving goals utilizing Lean initiatives. 
  • Leads the implementation of Lean programs from inception to completion. 
  • Support the planning and execution of Lean projects to achieve cost reduction objectives. 
  • Provide feedback to leadership on process improvement opportunities. • Perform other duties as assigned 

 


Requirements

  • Bachelors degree in Business, Industrial, Manufacturing, or Mechanical Engineering, or related field. 
  • At least three years of experience in manufacturing environments or consulting firms engaged in continuous improvement processes. 
  • Experience with continuous improvement methodologies applied to complex projects. 
  • Ability to navigate office, lab, and/or plant floor working environments. 
  • Standard office environment without unpleasant or hazardous conditions. Physical demands involved in office work such as the ability to talk, hear, use hands to handle and feel; work on a computer up to 7 hours a day; close vision required for computer usage 
  • Lean Six Sigma certification required (Green Belt required). 
  • Agile methodologies preferred. 
  • Black Belt certification required; if not currently held, the employee will be required to obtain certification through the Company-sponsored program within (1218 months) of placement in the role. 
  • Problem solving 
  • Leadership, mentoring and change management skills 
  • Ability to analyze complex manufacturing data and propose changes leading to higher efficiency and safety 
  • Ability to accurately assess key business metrics and situations 
  • Strong communication skills across all organizational levels. 
  • Ability to create and deliver presentations and supporting findings to team 
  • Strong analytical and technical skills 
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
