Join Lakeland Behavioral Health System as the Board Certified Behavioral Analyst (BCBA) and help lead one of the region's premier adolescent residential treatment programs.
Responsibilities
~1 min read- →Assist in the implementation of ABA programming on the Specialized Pediatric Unit
- →Provides supervision to the Registered Behavior Technicians and Behavioral Health Associates
- →Trains new staff on ABA techniques
- →Keeps abreast of advances in treatment and sets appropriate goals for self-improvement
- →Facilitates daily team meetings
- →Attends staff meetings as required and completes all yearly mandatory in-services
- →Provides direct services to the patients on the Specialized Pediatric Unit
- →Conducts the appropriate assessments including ADOS and other specific assessments in atimely manner
- →Participates in performance improvement activities
- →Follows all hospital policies and procedures
- →Must maintain license or certification in good standing
- →Flexible schedule. Possible weekends or evenings when appropriate
- →Employee will be required to perform other job related duties as assigned by their supervisor

Requirements

- Must have excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal skills
- Experience with working with adolescent population
- Must be skilled and competent to provide services to the patient.
- Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) by BACB
- CPR and de-escalation/restraint certification required (training available upon hire and offered byfacility).
- First aid may be required based on state or facility.
