Our multidisciplinary team is committed to helping patients achieve lasting healing and recovery in a supportive, therapeutic environment.

We are seeking a Board-Certified Psychiatrist to join our clinical team. This is an excellent opportunity to provide meaningful psychiatric care in a residential setting while collaborating with experienced behavioral health professionals.

What We Offer

Call Pay: $100 per day
No sign-on bonus or relocation assistance
  • 40 hours per week
  • Flexible scheduling
  • Approximately 8 patients per day
  • Average caseload of 20 patients
  • Call: 2 days per week

Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive psychiatric evaluations.
  • Provide medication management for residential patients.
  • Perform weekly psychiatric follow-up visits.
  • Develop and adjust individualized treatment plans.
  • Collaborate with therapists, nurses, and Advanced Practice Providers to coordinate patient care.
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation using BestNotes electronic medical records.
  • Participate in on-call coverage two days per week.

    Requirements

    • Doctoral degree in Medicine (MD or DO) required.
    • One or more years’ post graduate degree practice preferred.
    • Licensed in the state in which the facility(s) operate.
    • MD or DO from an accredited medical school
    • Board Certified in Psychiatry
    • Active, unrestricted medical license (or ability to obtain licensure)
    • Current DEA registration
    • Experience treating patients with behavioral health and co-occurring disorders preferred
    • Responsible for providing clinical services to patients at the facility.
    • Practice within medical protocols defined by federal and state regulations, as well as by corporate, facility policy or procedures.
    • Review medical information on patients to ensure medical stability and to offer medical recommendations.
    • Evaluate patients for mental, emotional or behavioral disorders.
    • Treat or direct treatment of patients, utilizing a variety of psychotherapeutic methods and medications.
    • Review and complete medical information for individual care plans, documents services and information in a timely manner.
    • Maintain confidential documentation, compliance and billing in accordance with the policy and procedures.
    • Board certification in psychiatry
    • Current DEA credentials to prescribe controlled substances without restrictions and per regulation within the state in which the practitioner will be working.
