Responsibilities
~1 min read- →Assess patients’ behavioral and physical health needs and deliver compassionate, trauma‑informed nursing care.
- →Develop, implement, and update individualized nursing treatment plans throughout the continuum of care.
- →Safely administer medications, including behavioral health and detox protocols, with accurate documentation and controlled substance tracking.
- →Monitor patient status on an ongoing basis and communicate significant behavioral or medical changes to providers and the care team.
- →Educate patients and families, maintain compliant medical records, and adhere to nursing standards and regulatory requirements.
- →Establish therapeutic, professional relationships while collaborating with an interdisciplinary treatment team to support patient recovery.
- Graduation from an accredited school of nursing and a current, unrestricted RN license (or eligibility to practice) in the state of employment.
- At least one year of nursing experience; behavioral health, psychiatric, or substance use treatment experience strongly preferred.
- Current CPR certification and willingness to complete de‑escalation and restraint training (provided upon hire, if needed).
- First Aid certification, as required by state or facility guidelines.
- Strong clinical judgment, attention to documentation, and the ability to remain calm and therapeutic in behavioral health settings.
