Responsibilities
~1 min read- →Provide technical support and documentation design, develop, and evaluate the operation of marine vessels, ship machinery, and related equipment, to include, but not limited to: power supply and propulsion systems.
- →Research and develop ship propulsion systems, to include, but not limited to: diesels, gas turbines, diesel-electric systems, propellers, rudders, thrusters, gears, shafts, bearings, seals, noise, vibration, and interfaces with dynamic positioning systems, and apply to applicable design and requirements.
- →Develop system documentation and ship specifications.
- →Design, develop and evaluate operation of marine vessels, shipboard propulsion machinery
- →Review and develop technical data packages
- →Provide oversight on development of machinery arrangements
- →Conduct and oversee trade studies.
- →Provide knowledge of ABS, NVR, and commercial ship design rules and regulations.

Requirements
~1 min read- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineer or related field
- 6+ years of experience with developing ship propulsion and control systems, machinery arrangements, weight assessments, and conducting trade studies on the configuration of propulsion and associated components.
- Ability to obtain a Secret Clearance
- U.S. Citizenship Required for the purposes of obtaining/holding a U.S. security clearance
