Responsibilities

→Travel to customer sites, yards, and field locations to inspect, diagnose, and repair transport equipment
→Inspect equipment for safety, mechanical condition, and required repairs, and communicate findings clearly to dispatch, service advisors, or customers.
→Use diagnostic tools, scan tools, and service manuals to troubleshoot faults and determine proper repair procedures.
→Complete service calls efficiently and maintain accurate records of labour, parts used, diagnostics, and repair details in work orders or mobile systems.
→Work independently in the field while maintaining communication with dispatch and supervisors regarding job status, parts needs, and estimated completion times.
→Accurately entering and updating information in the maintenance software through the use of state-of-the-art web-based tablet system
→Communicating effectively with co-workers, customers and service managers
→Other duties as required
