Underwriting Assistant I

In a support role to the team the Multi-Line Underwriting Assistant responsibilities include the following, but are not limited to:

• →New Business support, such as, pre-bind risk analysis within prescribed authority, reconciliation of binds to ensure all issued.
• →Renewal support including pre-underwriting review, quoting, system updates, data collection and any other non-core underwriting type duties as directed.
• →Broker of record handling
• →Endorsement review and pre-screening as directed
• →Cancellation and reinstatement handling as directed.
• →Recommendation review and handling.
• →Special projects as needed
• →Maintains ownership of tasks assigned and provide acceptable service standards when processing and assigning tasks.
• →Provide agency support to assigned agents by answering general questions, providing endorsement status, cancellation status, billing inquires, etc. or directs to correct contact.

• Have the knowledge and skills needed to review Workers’ Compensation lines of business.

The expected salary range for this role is $13.00-$23.00/HR.
