MRI Technologist

• →Operate MRI scanners (1.5T or 3.0T) to perform diagnostic imaging exams
• →Screen, position, and prepare patients for MRI procedures
• →Select appropriate imaging parameters and protocols
• →Administer contrast media under radiologist supervision
• →Maintain MRI safety standards and infection control practices
• →Process and transmit images via PACS systems
• →Document procedures in CPRS and Radiology systems
• →Perform quality assurance and equipment check

• ARRT (R) certification and Advanced ARRT (MR) certification
• Minimum:
  • 6 months MRI experience with similar equipment OR
  • 1 year MRI experience
• Current BLS certification
• Experience with IV placement and contrast injections
• PACS experience (AGFA preferred)
