Registered Nurse - Primary Care

• →Conduct patient assessments and develop nursing care plans
• →Administer medications and IV therapies; document in EHR
• →Carry out and document physician orders
• →Monitor vital signs, interpret cardiac rhythms, respond to emergencies
• →Educate patients and families on medications, procedures, and discharge planning
• →Collaborate with interdisciplinary PACT team
• →Participate in daily huddles, weekly calls, and quality improvement activities

• Graduate of an ACEN- or CCNE-accredited nursing program
• Current, active Ohio RN license
• Current BLS certification; ACLS required if assigned to specialty clinic
• Minimum 1 year direct patient care within the last 3 years; VA experience preferred
• Must pass background investigation (Tier 1/Low Risk); PIV card required
• Must complete required VA mandatory training prior to start
