Responsibilities
~1 min read- →Responsible for performing functions as authorized under the direct supervision of a registered nurse.
- →In addition, performs basic nursing tasks to include patient care, reporting patient conditions, circumstances, and maintaining equipment and unit cleanliness.
- →The nurse extern must be able to demonstrate the knowledge and skills necessary to provide care appropriate to the age of the patients served on his or her assigned unit.

- High School Diploma or GED equivalent; must be enrolled in an Accredited Nursing Program with an anticipated completion from program within 24 months from date of hire.
- In academic good standing in your Accredited Nursing Program REQUIRED.
- Medical Technology; Anatomy and Physiology
- Must be currently enrolled and in good academic standing in a professional nursing program
- BLS certification must be obtained within 14 days of hire or transfer into the role and prior to providing direct patient care.
