Producer/Board Operator

Audacy Kansas City is looking for a Part Time Producer/Board Operator for 96.5 The Fan. This position will fill in on nighttime shows, main dayparts and specialized programming throughout the year. Other duties will include on-air responsibilities, social media & sales.

• →Run the control board, following station format, arranging and playing commercials and IDs according to program and commercial logs
• →Follow all applicable laws and FCC regulations.
• →Scheduling guests and live interviews.
• →Researching broadcast topics.
• →Assisting in the development of on-air promotions.
• →Providing creative input on broadcast elements.
• →Contributing to social networking and website updates.
• →May be required to perform light production work
• →Other duties as required by management.

• Minimum of 2+ years producing radio show.
• Must be computer literate; requires creative approach and ability to prioritize.
• Knowledge of the broadcast area and station demographics is essential; 4 year degree preferred.
