About the Role
~1 min readAs Development Specialist (M/F/X) you are the business product owner for the leaning management system LMS365, which means you supervise the development and implementation of (digital) learning solutions within Vinçotte. You align the (digital) learning initiatives with Business Divisions and organisational strategies within Vinçotte and you design and develop training courses and strands of a learning & development program.

- You develop & manage learning initiatives in collaboration with internal and external stakeholders (board, management, experts, employees, peers in Kiwa & SHV entities) and with subject matter experts to guarantee the accuracy and relevance of course content.
- You act as product owner and subject matter expert for the leaning management system LMS365. You are responsible for ensuring its smooth operation throughout Vinçotte:
- You are owner of the development roadmap of the LMS365, and you frequently align with the provider as well as other relevant stakeholders (i.e., ICT development team, …) on requirements, optimization opportunities, user testing, next steps, and actions.
- You manage and optimize the Microsoft tools associated with the LMS365 platform (i.e., PowerBi, PowerApps, SharePoint, …) to ensure access to LMS365 data for reporting and to assure an excellent user experience throughout the learning & development process.
- You act as catalogue administrator, ensuring catalogue integrity, and you provide guidance and expertise to all employees on the efficient use of the LMS365 environment.
- You develop and curate engaging e-learning courses, ensuring high quality content that elevates the learning experience, learning engagement & learning outcomes, that incorporates specified learning & development methodologies & channels, and aligns with educational best practices & trends.
- You act as single point of contact for all internal and external trainings within Vinçotte: you organize all mandatory trainings from invitation to follow-up on participation, you manage all employee training requests, and you administrate the internal and external registration process.
- You identify opportunities for (continuous) improvement based on user feedback, data insights resulting from annual review process and talent review process and your own experience & expertise.
- You set-up regular communication campaigns & initiatives to promote employee development and the learning & development policies and practices.
- You create insightful management reports, providing relevant learning & development figures and you advice management on actions to be taken based on these figures to support the Business Divisions in achieving their objectives.
- You collaborate with international teams (Kiwa & SHV-group) to drive and promote the business training experience across all regions, this includes participating in projects and implementing mandatory trainings for international Kiwa group as well as coaching Vinçotte Luxembourg in the implementation of a learning & development approach through different coaching meetings.
- You guarantee an in-depth understanding of existing and emerging best practices and trends in i.e., e-learning, instructional design, multimedia technologies, the integration of AI technologies in content creation, … through continuing professional development, attending conferences & specialist communities, and reading specialist media.
- You create visuals (social media campaigns, communication campaigns, …) and multimedia (photography, video, sound, …), in support of the corporate communication team, to enhance the impact of communications & projects.
- You act as branding watch dog on the correct application of the corporate identity and brand throughout different communication campaigns.

In this role, you will collaborate with a broad network of internal and external stakeholders to ensure the successful design, deployment, and continuous improvement of learning initiatives. You will report directly to the Talent Development Manager and work closely with Senior Leadership on a daily basis to identify and address organizational training needs. You will also partner with Subject Matter Experts to develop engaging and relevant learning content.
In addition, you will maintain regular collaboration with Kiwa and SHV colleagues to support the rollout of training programs and share best practices across the wider organization. Externally, you will work closely with training providers to coordinate and manage learning solutions, as well as with the LMS365 provider to discuss platform developments, enhancements, and overall learning system management. This position requires strong stakeholder management skills and the ability to build effective relationships across all levels of the business.
- You have an innovative mindset and a strong passion for learning, development, and people growth.
- You can demonstrate at least 3 years of relevant experience in the field of the latest e-learning technologies, learning platforms, and instructional design principles.
- You closely follow and maintain a strong interest in the evolution of digital and blended learning.
- You have the ability to creatively address educational challenges and engage learners through digital learning solutions.
- You are capable of collaborating effectively with colleagues while also working independently on detailed project plans.
- You work in a structured manner and possess excellent communication and organizational skills.
Languages: you are fluent in Dutch, French and have an excellent command of English.
