We're looking for an Electrical Field Supervisor to lead our growing electrical team in Columbus. In this role, you'll oversee daily field operations, mentor and develop electricians, ensure quality workmanship, and partner with leadership to continue growing one of the area's premier residential electrical service teams.

Requirements
~1 min read- Master Electrician License (preferred)
- Nextstar Service System experience OR similar sales/service coaching experience
- Experience leading residential service electricians
- Strong understanding of KPIs including average ticket, closing rate, callbacks, and technician performance
You are someone who enjoys leading by example, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and knows how to build strong teams while maintaining high standards of workmanship and customer service.
You understand that your success isn't measured only by the work you complete - but by the electricians you develop.
- Proven experience leading residential electrical teams
- Previous experience as an Electrical Supervisor, Foreman, Field Supervisor, or Service Manager
- Strong knowledge of residential electrical systems, service upgrades, generators, and panel replacements
- Advanced troubleshooting and diagnostic abilities
- Thorough knowledge of National Electrical Code (NEC)
- Strong leadership, coaching, and communication skills
- Experience managing productivity, labor costs, and field operations
- Ability to motivate and develop technicians to reach their full potential
- Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record
- Ability to successfully pass pre-employment screening

Responsibilities
~1 min readAs the Electrical Field Supervisor, you'll provide hands-on leadership while ensuring the electrical department operates safely, efficiently, and profitably.
- Lead, coach, mentor, and develop a high-performing team of residential electricians.
- Conduct ride-alongs and field coaching to improve technical skills, customer experience, and sales performance.
- Identify training opportunities and create development plans for team members.
- Assist with recruiting, interviewing, onboarding, and developing new electricians.
- Foster a culture centered on accountability, teamwork, safety, and continuous improvement.
- Oversee residential electrical installations from start to completion.
- Supervise installations including:
- Whole-home generators
- Electrical panels and service upgrades
- Residential electrical systems
- Review work for quality, code compliance, and customer satisfaction.
- Troubleshoot complex electrical issues and provide technical guidance to the field.
- Ensure projects are completed on schedule and within budget.
- Monitor productivity, labor utilization, overtime, and material costs.
- Manage electrical inventory, tools, equipment, and fleet readiness.
- Reduce callbacks and warranty work through quality assurance.
- Promote lead generation opportunities while delivering exceptional customer experiences.
- Support department growth through technician coaching and performance management.
- Partner with leadership to develop operational strategies that drive profitability and customer satisfaction.
- Ensure compliance with all NEC, OSHA, and company safety standards.
- Maintain clean, organized, and safe job sites.
- Review electrical plans, schematics, and specifications to ensure accurate installations.
- Perform quality inspections and maintain accurate reporting.
- Handle escalated customer concerns with professionalism and a commitment to 100% customer satisfaction.
