Are you passionate about creating a positive employee experience while ensuring HR excellence?
We're looking for an experienced HR Generalist in San Antonio, TX to serve as a trusted partner to leaders and employees, helping foster an engaged, compliant, and high-performing workplace. In this role, you'll play a key part in strengthening employee relations, supporting performance management initiatives, ensuring compliance with employment laws and company policies, facilitating a seamless onboarding experience, and maintaining accurate HR records. Responsibilities
~1 min read- →Administer various human resource plans, policies, and procedures for assigned groups of team members; maintain the employee handbook and support implementation of new or revised policies.
- →Partner with leaders to understand business priorities and employee issues, providing sound HR guidance and solutions.
- →Respond to employee relations concerns, conduct investigations, and ensure fair and compliant resolution of cases.
- →Coordinate and deliver new hire orientation, ensuring timely completion of documentation and a positive onboarding experience.
- →Support managers in handling performance management, disciplinary actions, and terminations in accordance with policy and employment law.
- →Develop and maintain employee safety, wellness, and engagement programs in partnership with relevant stakeholders.
- →Ensure HR compliance by maintaining accurate records, preparing regular and ad-hoc reports, and monitoring adherence to local employment laws and internal policies.
- →Participate in HR projects and process improvement initiatives that promote operational efficiency and enhance the employee experience.
- →Provide coaching and guidance to employees and managers to strengthen communication, conflict resolution, and workplace relationships.
- →Perform other related duties as assigned to support overall People Services objectives.
