Job Summary

 

 

The Multi-Line Claim Consultant manages bodily injury claims for a dedicated Waste Management account, overseeing investigations, claim evaluation, negotiations, and resolution. This role is responsible for delivering exceptional client service while adhering to CCMSI's claim-handling standards. Experience with complex bodily injury claims is required, and litigation knowledge is preferred. Opportunities for career growth and advancement are available.

Responsibilities

  • Investigate, evaluate, negotiate, and resolve bodily injury and multi-line claims in accordance with applicable laws, client requirements, and CCMSI standards.
  • Establish and manage claim reserves within assigned authority levels.
  • Review and authorize claim-related expenses, invoices, and payments, resolving billing disputes as needed.
  • Negotiate settlements and participate in mediations, hearings, and other litigation-related proceedings as appropriate.
  • Coordinate and oversee outside vendors, including defense counsel, surveillance providers, and other claim service partners.
  • Identify and pursue subrogation opportunities to maximize claim recoveries.
  • Maintain timely and accurate claim documentation and provide status reports to clients and management.
  • Communicate effectively with claimants, clients, attorneys, medical providers, and other stakeholders throughout the life of the claim.
  • Manage a complex caseload for a dedicated Waste Management account with minimal supervision.
  • Support client service initiatives and participate in training, presentations, or claim reviews as needed.

  • Strong communication, analytical, and negotiation skills.
  • 5+ years of multi-line experience - Bodily Injury and Litigation is required
  • Experience handling highly complex claims in multiple jurisdictions
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities.
  • A customer and client-focused approach, and commitment to responsive service.

 

 

Nice to Have:

  • Bilingual (Spanish) proficiency — highly valued for communicating with claimants, employers, or vendors, but not required.

The posted salary reflects CCMSI’s good-faith estimate in accordance with applicable pay transparency laws. Actual compensation will be based on qualifications, experience, geographic location, and internal equity. This role may also qualify for bonuses or additional forms of pay.
