Responsibilities
~3 min read- → Leadership, Communication, and Representation
Supports strong internal communication, leadership alignment, and effective representation of the agency.
a) Participates in Leadership Cabinet and key organizational meetings;b) Facilitates Management Team and cross-functional meetings with strong follow-through;c) Represents the Agency Director in community and partner settings, as requested;d) Supports board and committee engagement in partnership with the Senior Director;e) Ensures effective planning, coordination, and follow-up for leadership and staff meetings.
- → Risk Management and Compliance
Serves as primary risk manager for the division, ensuring proactive identification, mitigation, and monitoring of risk.
a) Works with Senior Director, CCSWW staff, and other management staff to identify and manage risk.
b) Manages incident report process, ensuring timely responses to mitigate risk and effective identification of trends;
c) Ensures adequate systems, policies, and procedures are in place to ensure compliance with funding contracts;
d) Implementing strategies that employ cross-department reviews as needed.
e) Recommends and implements risk mitigation strategies.
f) Serves as a key participant in escalation protocols for emergencies and critical incidents, ensuring rapid response, clear communication, and appropriate leadership coordination.
- → Financial Management and Resource Stewardship
Leads the planning and supports the budgeting process for the Community and Families Services division, ensuring sound financial management throughout the division.
a) Works with regional management staff on developing the entrepreneurial spirit of the agency and managing according to the principles of good stewardship of limited resources.
b) Developing financial and productivity indicators and goals for programs;
c) Managing programs to achieve sustainable financial performance in alignment with approved budget
d) Developing plans to rectify financial issues out of compliance with organizational goals.
e) Monitors fiscal performance of the programs under your supervision, including assisting programs with record keeping and audit preparation.
f) Assists Service Directors in developing plans to address projected or actual deficits and make mid-course corrections.
g) Identifies and pursues new funding opportunities by tracking community needs, partnerships, and emerging resources.
- → Strategic Planning and Program Advancement
Partners with the Senior Director and Management Team to establish strategic direction and drive implementation. Drives strategic planning efforts, including development of operating plans that align with organization goals and advance program quality and client experience.
a) Brings forward opportunities for service enhancement, innovation, and program growth;b) Collaborates with program leadership to design and implement strategies that improve outcomes and client experience;c) Identifies and develops new service models and secures funding to support implementation and sustainability.
- → Contracts and Compliance Oversight
In partnership with the Senior Director, oversees contract compliance and management across the division.
a) Provides training and technical support on contract monitoring;b) Reviews contracts for financial, operational, and service delivery viability;c) Tracks and ensures compliance with contractual obligations;d) Leads or supports renegotiation of contracts as needed.
- → Program Development and Community Engagement
Leads program development efforts in partnership with funders, government agencies, and community stakeholders to expand impact and meet emerging needs.
a) Engages funders, partners, and individuals with lived experience to identify opportunities that improve access, equity, and outcomes;b) Works with program leaders to expand and strengthen services in response to community need;c) Represents the agency in coalitions, partnerships, and public processes to advance shared goals and community impact.

Requirements
~2 min read- MA in Business Administration, Public Administration, Social Work, or related discipline. Or ten or more years equivalent work experience and/or training;
- Seven or more years’ experience in internal operations, with at least five in a managerial capacity;
- Experienced administrator with significant program development and implementation skills, preferably in a non-profit setting;
- Energetic, entrepreneurial, innovative, individual with high ethical standards and a professional image;
- Demonstrated strong financial and organizational skills with exposure to non-profit accounting and financial reporting requirements;
- An extremely well organized, detail oriented, self-directed individual who is articulate and can relate to people at all levels of an organization and demonstrates a commitment to diversity;
- A decisive individual with the ability to respond effectively to the most sensitive inquires or complaints;
- A dynamic communicator able to make effective and persuasive presentations;
- Willingness to work occasional weekends/evenings to support Board, fundraising and program events.
