CBT Group Therapist II

This position is responsible for direct provision of counseling and educational services within the scope of their licensure or certification within the Behavioral Health program.

$5,000 signing bonus- split between your first full paycheck and after your 9-month work anniversary

Salary Range:$48,000-$60,000 annually

• →Provides counseling, psycho-educational services, screens and assessments.
• →Coordinates services as required by the program.
• →Provides case consultation within the agency and with community resources.
• →Plans and provides educational presentations as requested.
• →Maintains productivity expectations.
• →Completes all necessary paperwork as required.
• →Provides emergency assistance as needed to clients.
• →Drives for Agency business.

• Must compose self and their practice under the Code of Ethics of their profession.
• Knowledge of community resources.
• Knowledge of direct counseling, therapeutic services, and child welfare programs.
• Ability to communicate in both verbal and written form.
• Ability to complete of paperwork and meet required deadlines.
• Ability to engage clients in treatment.
• Ability to communicate with outside agencies while maintaining all HIPPA requirements.
• Ability to address issues affecting indigent populations.

Education:

• Bachelor’s Degree (B.A.) in Social Work (or a related field) from a four year college or university.

Experience:

A minimum of three years of work experience in Human Services in strongly preferred.

Certificates, Licenses, Registrations:

This position requires State of Michigan certifications or licensure as specified per program.

Supervisory Responsibilities:

This position does not have supervisory responsibilities.
