Sometimes, the person who makes the biggest difference is someone who understands.

This is a role built on connection and shared understanding.

As a Recovery Motivator, you’ll be a welcoming and consistent presence within our Worksop service, supporting people affected by drug and alcohol use, as well as their families, carers and wider support networks.

You’ll draw on your own lived experience to help people feel understood, connect with the right support and believe that positive change is possible.

This role is designed to support someone taking their first steps into employment with Change Grow Live. You’ll receive training, supervision and ongoing support to develop your confidence, knowledge and skills.

You’ll be a trusted and approachable point of contact within the service and across the local community.

You’ll welcome people without judgement, listen to what matters to them and help them find the services, recovery networks and community resources that can support their next step.

You’ll also work alongside colleagues, partners and peer networks to strengthen community engagement, support service user involvement and help create recovery-focused activities and groups.

This role is about using your experience to help others feel heard, supported and able to move forward.
