Patient Services Representative

• →Calculate and collect co-payments, verify insurance (including Medicare and Medicaid), complete credit card processing, and balance nightly deposits. 

• →Schedule/confirm patient appointments and follow up on no-shows or cancelations. 

• →Smile and greet patients and families upon arrival and dismissal. 

• →Answer telephones and check voicemail. 

• →Check patients in/out and verify patient information 

• →All other tasks as requested by management.

• High School Diploma generally required 

• Knowledge of administrative and clerical procedures 

• Experience with customer service principles and practices 

• Must be available to travel to other locations to meet operational needs 

Preferred, but not required 

• At least one year of experience working in a dental, medical, or health-care office is preferred  

• Knowledge of insurance plans (HMO/PPO/Medicare/Medicaid) is helpful 

Schedule: Monday - Thursday 6:45am - 4:00pm and Friday 6:45am - 1:00pm 

Compensation: $16 - $18/hour
