Security Officer

We are seeking a dependable, energetic, and service-oriented Security Officer (Transportation & Facilities Support Officer) to help create a safe, welcoming, and well-maintained campus environment for residents and visitors.

This hybrid role combines transportation, security, and facilities support responsibilities. You will provide safe and reliable transportation services while also assisting with day-to-day campus operations, including basic maintenance tasks such as painting, moving furniture, and minor repairs as directed by your manager.

The ideal candidate is professional, self-motivated, hands-on, and committed to delivering excellent service while working collaboratively to support the needs of the campus community.

• →Assist with light maintenance tasks, such as replacing light bulbs, performing minor repairs, and room set-ups.
• →Support facilities team with preventative maintenance, inspections, and work orders as assigned.
• →Monitor campus grounds for safety hazards and report or address issues promptly.
• →Provide support during emergencies, such as transporting individuals or assisting with safety procedures.
• →Assist with moving equipment, supplies, and furniture as needed.
• →Assist with any other Facilities related tasked assigned by Facilities Director, Maintenance supervisor and/or Facilities Director Assistant.

• Valid AZ driver's license required.
• Fingerprint Clearance card required.
• General on-site repairs such as painting, moving furniture, unblocking drains, and as directed by your manager.
• Driving history report.
• Skills required include great observation, good judgment, common sense, and excellent communication skills - both verbal and written.
• Must have some experience or training in computer operation.
