Consor is seeking a motivated and experienced Structural / Bridge Engineer to join our growing Structural / Bridge Engineering Group in our Draper, Utah office. As a dynamic and expanding engineering consulting firm, Consor offers exceptional opportunities for professional growth, leadership development, and long‑term career advancement.

The selected candidate will play a key role within a close‑knit team, contributing technical expertise to a wide range of structural and bridge design projects. You will collaborate directly with senior structural engineers— including a team lead with more than two decades of transportation project experience while also taking on increasing levels of responsibility, design leadership, and client interaction.

In this role, you will design and check structures of all types, including (but not limited to) highway bridges, pedestrian bridges, culverts, walls, overhead sign structures, and miscellaneous drainage structures. You will be exposed to a diverse portfolio of clients and project types, strengthening both your technical and project‑delivery skillsets.

Our group places a strong emphasis on collaboration, cooperation, and a supportive culture—one where team members actively promote one another’s success and enjoy celebrating new achievements as we advance together.

  • Lead and support structural and bridge design tasks as part of an integrated engineering team
  • Serve as a technical resource and mentor to junior staff, including EITs
  • Perform structural/bridge analysis, engineering calculations, load‑rating evaluations, and design checks
  • Develop and review structural/bridge plans, specifications, estimates, and supporting documents
  • Conduct conceptual engineering studies and provide recommendations
  • Support and lead preliminary engineering and final design efforts
  • Prepare high‑quality technical reports and design summaries
  • Coordinate with internal project managers, coworkers, local governments, and UDOT
  • Participate in client meetings, project presentations, and proposal efforts as needed

We know career growth is not always linear or streamlined—it’s often dynamic. You may want to explore a management track, try a new technical track, or move laterally to reposition your skills and talents. No matter what level you join us at or how you want to shape your career, we want Consor to be a place where you can learn and grow.
