We currently have an opportunity for a well-rounded and seasoned Banquet Captain to join our Pier Sixty-Six Resort team!

Reporting to the Director of Banquets, you will manage and provide support to all areas of Banquets. As a Banquet Captain, you will oversee the execution of events, ensuring seamless service and guest satisfaction while upholding the luxury standards of our resort throughout our indoor and outdoor banquet spaces.

• →Leading and supervising banquet staff, including servers, bartenders, and housemen, to ensure smooth and efficient operations during events.
• →Coordinating event setup, including arranging tables, chairs, linens, and tableware, and overseeing the proper placement of decorations and signage.
• →Communicating event details and specific guest requests to the banquet team and ensuring they are executed accurately and promptly.
• →Conducting pre-event briefings with staff to review event details, service expectations, and any special instructions or considerations.
• →Monitoring event progress and anticipating guest needs, responding promptly to any requests or concerns to ensure exceptional service.
• →Liaising with event planners, kitchen staff, and other resort departments to ensure proper coordination and execution of events.
• →Assisting with serving food and beverages, as needed, and providing support to staff during peak periods or high-profile events.
• →Maintaining cleanliness and organization of banquet spaces and equipment, including bar setups, service stations, and storage areas.
• →Handling any guest inquiries, complaints, or issues in a professional and timely manner, striving to exceed guest expectations and resolve issues to their satisfaction.
• →Perform additional task assigned by Management

• Previous experience as a banquet captain or in a similar supervisory role in the hospitality industry is required.
• Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team to deliver exceptional service.
• Excellent communication and organizational abilities, with a keen attention to detail.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and remain calm under pressure.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
