Devereux is hiring a Student Assistance Program (SAP) Liaison / Mental Health Clinician to provide school-based mental health and prevention services across public K–12 schools.
- Typical locations include Phoenixville, Downingtown, and possibly Octorara (subject to change based on program needs)
- Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM
- 10-month, school-year position.
As an SAP Clinician, you will collaborate with other dedicated professionals who share your passion for helping individuals in need. We offer:
- Compensation: $48,000 - $55,000 per year based on experience.

- Coordinate and deliver prevention and intervention services to public school students referred to SAP
- Provide consultation to SAP teams, school staff, and families on screenings and clinical recommendations
- Conduct behavioral health screenings and deliver student and family-focused support services
- Facilitate psychoeducational and drug & alcohol prevention groups
- Deliver mental health and prevention services across assigned schools, with a focus on elementary students
- Serve as a resource to promote student wellness and reduce mental health and substance use risks
Devereux Educational Strategies and Solutions (DESS) provides support to schools around early learning, academic interventions, safety practices and the assessment and treatment of students with complex behaviors, cognitive challenges and communication needs. We use evidence-based practices with an emphasis on assisting school systems with special education populations.
